About Islamic Mentors
Islamic Mentors is an Islamic information blog. Since 2021 we have published plain-English articles on prayer, the Quran and Hadith, Ramadan, Hajj and Umrah, ethics and family life, prepared with reference to the Quran and the Sunnah.
An Islamic Blog for Everyday Questions
Islamic Mentors began in 2021 as a place to explain everyday Islamic questions in language a beginner can follow. It is a blog, not a school. We publish articles and guides, and we do not run classes or courses.
Readers come from Pakistan, the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States, Saudi Arabia and many other countries. Typical questions are how to pray Tahajjud, how long the iddah period lasts, or what to prepare before Umrah. Each article answers the question first, then gives the evidence behind the answer.
Our Mission
Our mission is to give Muslims clear explanations drawn from the Quran and the Sunnah. We want readers to pray more consistently, improve their character and understand their faith without confusion.
Our Vision
We want Islamic Mentors to be a place readers return to when they need an answer, a reminder or a direction. Islamic knowledge should be easy to find, easy to follow and open about its sources, so that readers can stay grounded and check what they read.
Who Writes and Checks Our Articles
Every article carries the name of its author and is edited by our editorial team before it goes live, including guest submissions.
How an article is made
Research
The author starts from the Quran and the Sunnah and from the classical and modern works that explain them.
Writing
The named author writes the article in plain English and gives references for the claims.
Editing
The editorial team checks the article for accuracy, clarity and references before publishing.
Corrections
When a reader reports an error, we review it and correct the article if it is wrong.
